Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation

I have been wearing Shiseido Synchro Skin lasting liquid foundation daily for the past month now. For the most part I absolutely love it as a natural everyday look. You don’t need a lot of product to get good coverage to even out your skin tone. This foundation is easy to apply and very lightweight. It doesn’t feel like you are wearing any foundation at all and doesn’t fade throughout the day. The foundation is very light weight and the matte finish doesn’t dry out the skin. There is no need to use powder over this foundation as it dries to a natural, soft, matte finish. For the most part this foundation’s matte finish looks amazing without looking dry or drying out the skin. Sometimes it doesn’t sink into fine lines or wrinkles but then other times it does. I think it may depend on what you have on your face as a base. Some moisturizers caused the foundation to not blend well then some caused the foundation to seeped into my pores and ended up accentuating the texture on my skin and didn't look as smooth as other times I used the foundation. This foundation is probably not meant for people with dry skin for this reason.

The packaging of the bottle isn’t the greatest. The lid is curved to match the curves of the bottle but it is a loose fit. I feel like this shape is not necessary and just creates difficulty for users. The bottle is a nice, soft texture but I believe in focusing on the product and having functional yet attractive packaging.

Overall, Shiseido Synchro Skin lasting liquid foundation is a great everyday foundation that creates a natural, matte finish that doesn’t dry out your skin. It is light weight so it doesn’t really look or feel like you are wearing any foundation. I have only used this product as light coverage but I am sure you can build to your desired coverage. The outcome of the foundation depends on what you are wearing underneath so be mindful of that. I love this foundation for everyday use but I personally feel like it is a little bit pricey for not giving consistent flawless coverage. However, it feels and looks amazing on your skin like its not even there making it perfect for everyday usage.
